Boston College is situated close to the town centre of Boston with three campuses in close proximity to each other, as well as campuses in the heart of Spalding and Horncastle. Boston College offers courses in 35 different course areas including Full Time, Part Time, Higher Education, Apprenticeships and Distance Learning. Boston College’s Institute of Technology offers 4 different Engineering courses ranging from Level 3 to Level 5.
Boston College’s Institute of Technology is located within the main Rochford Campus. Facilities within the IoT include hydraulics and pneumatics training equipment, an electronic and robotics room, a University Level seminar room, and a graphics and digital technology suite. The College’s Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology Centre (EMAT) also forms part of IOT, and includes facilities such as an innovation hub, engineering workshops, electronics workshops, electronics laboratory, CAD suite and classrooms.
Within the Engineering courses at Boston College, we deliver Electronics, Mathematics, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Computer Aided Design, Renewables, Maintenance, Mechanical (turning/milling/bench fitting), Robotics and Automation, Health and Safety in the Workplace, 3D Printing, Mechanical Measurements/Inspection.
