Lincolnshire Institute of Technology (or LIoT, as we’re commonly known as) is a partnership between a group of educational institutions. Our purpose is to provide an exciting range of STEM-related qualifications, experiences and resources to the people of Lincolnshire and help people to access these.
The Lincolnshire Institute of Technology (LIoT) has secured a further £2.5m investment from the second phase of the HigherTechnical Education Skills Injection fund after securing an initial £500,000 in the first round.
Year 9 students will be tasked with building an automatic sorting machine for robotic production lines in the STEM Challenge.
The initiative focuses on raising aspirations and encouraging young people to consider higher education and career opportunities within the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) industries.
