Stamford College, part of the Inspire Education Group, plays a vital role in the provision of high-quality, employer-focused training across Lincolnshire, and working with the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology will help to bridge the gap between education and industry, preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s jobs.

There are a range of Level 3, 4, 5 and 6 courses covering IoT pathways such as Digital Technologies and Heath and Science. This includes Diplomas to Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), which are level 4 and 5 qualifications including Higher National Certificates (HNCs) and Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), to Full Bachelor’s Degrees. 

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES 

With its University Centre Peterborough provision ensuring Stamford and its surrounding community has access to high-quality higher education, the Group can offer Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) specifically developed with employers and businesses. This ensures both students and employers are developing the skills they need, potentially unlocking high-skilled and high-paid jobs. 
 
These level 4/5 specialised, industry-focused qualifications equip students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to excel in specific professions. And being approved against occupational standards in their sector, students studying these can get a head start in their careers. 
 
There are four HTQ pathways in Digital Technologies: 
Cloud Networking 
Cyber Security 
Software Development & Programming 
Data Analytics 
 
Each course is designed with employers in mind, helping students gain practical, in-demand skills that lead directly into exciting tech roles. These courses are full time and two full days a week. Upon successful completion of an HTQ, students will have the opportunity to progress straight into the final year of a BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree—giving them a clear and supported pathway to advance their career even further. 
 
Facilities 
Stamford College specialises in delivering high-quality, career-focused higher education in a supportive and personalised environment. Located in Peterborough, its HTQ provision offers a state-of-the-art Cyber Security lab, equipped with the latest tools and technologies to simulate real-world scenarios, giving students hands-on experience in defending digital systems. Its dedicated Esports lab also provides a modern learning and gaming environment for students interested in competitive gaming, game development and digital collaboration.

Community Coaching for England - HTQ 

This course will lay the foundations of learning by providing a specialised introduction to coaching in the UK landscape and Sport Science within the wider sector. This will develop and strengthen core skills while providing the qualities necessary for academic progression or employability. Students will gain a wide range of coaching knowledge linked to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios. 
 
Throughout their studies, students have the opportunity to gain significant experience in the sports industry via partnerships with organisations such as Peterborough United Football Club, Peterborough Rowing Club and a variety of educational institutions, as well as guest lecturers who can deliver sessions and engage with students about their experiences and emerging themes within the industry. 
 
Facilities 
Scientific methods are explored within a specialised laboratory environment, utilising the latest technology and analytical equipment in a small, friendly and supportive setting. 

Counselling - Level 2 to Bachelors Degree 

For students looking to become fully qualified practitioners, Counselling courses provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive as a therapist. Courses, spanning from Diplomas to a Bachelor’s Degree, provide a pathway for students to progress through different levels of counselling education, combining counselling methods with an understanding of ethical considerations. Level 2 to Level 3 Counselling courses are delivered at Stamford College, with full degree programmes as well as top-up modules available at University Centre Peterborough's Stamford Campus.

Animal Studies - Level 1 to Bachelors Degree 

The world of animal care is constantly evolving, and so are the skills needed to thrive in it. Exciting courses designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to excel in this dynamic field are available at the Stamford campus, where the College offers a comprehensive educational journey, spanning from Level 4 to Level 6, through its Higher National Diploma (HND) or degree programmes. Here, students can immerse themselves in hands-on learning within a state-of-the-art Animal Studies Unit. 
 
Facilities: 
At Stamford College, students will encounter a wide variety of animals from small mammals and reptiles to amphibians, fish and invertebrates. They will also have access to a dedicated nocturnal room and a spacious outdoor area, which is home to creatures like rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, marmosets and meerkats.
