DN Colleges Group’s Institute of Technology is based across two campuses, North Lindsey College serving our FE audience the University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) delivering to HE students, both are situated in Scunthorpe. North Lindsey College’s multi-million pound Engineering Technology Centre is home facilities such as electrical and mechanical alongside fabrication and welding workshops, CAD suite and classrooms.
The UCNL’s purpose-built Engineering laboratories house a wide range of industry-standard training equipment including pneumatics, mechatronics, robotics, PLCs, fluid processing and a unique Industry 4.0 ‘Factory of the Future’ training system enabling the study and assessment of the full range of automation concepts. Our facilities and subject areas also support students to develop their knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data and analytics, cybersecurity and augmented reality.
