For example, University Campus North Lincolnshire provides students with expertise in AI, big data, analytics, cybersecurity and augmented reality. What courses are available?

For students interested in online safety, a Level 4 course in Cyber Security or a Cyber Security Technologist Apprenticeship at Lincoln College might be suitable. Thomas Hughes, who achieved a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at Lincoln College, said:
“I chose BSc (Hons) Computer Science mainly because I want to pursue a career in cybersecurity. I was originally studying a Level 3 Air & Defence programme, but I was informed I couldn't pursue a career in the RAF due to medical grounds.
“I took this quite hard at first, but the encouraging words from my tutors during my studies enabled me to get a much better grasp on my confidence. This then furthered my grades quite exponentially and led me to be recommended for the BSc Computer Science degree.
“Since I knew all the tutors beforehand, it made the transition from Level 3 to BSc a lot easier to overcome. I think the small class sizes, alongside the friendly tutors, enable for a very enjoyable learning environment.”
